The Great Internet Scavenger Hunt

The best way to carry this activity out is to use the Internet Explorer program to search for the things you want to find. Here are two useful search pages:

http://www.hotbot.com or http://www.yahooligans.com

When this opens you will see a long narrow box. Click in this box and type the word you want to search for example "Dinosaur". Click on "Start Search" or something like that, and it will give you a list of all the web sites that mention your word. This may be a VERY long list! Anything in blue with a line under it is a link and clicking on it with your mouse pointer will take you to that page.

When you find the item, add the page to your favourites by clicking on "favourites" then "add to favourites" then click "OK".

Your Mission, should you choose to accept it is to find:

1. A picture of a pop star (anyone you like).

2. A film review.

3. Information about a dinosaur.

4. Today’s weather forecast.

5. A picture of Bart Simpson.

6. The web address of your favourite football team.
